Safe play guide
Short rules for players, then what parents should know. The same guide is in the game under Settings.
For players
- Keep personal things to yourself.Never tell the game, or an AI, your real name, address, school, passwords, or photos of yourself.
- Keep other people's things private too.Don't share a friend's name, number or private messages.
- An AI is not a person. It doesn't know you, and it can be confidently wrong.
- Check what matters.Check important answers with a teacher, a parent or a trusted source before you trust them.
- Say when AI helped. For homework or work, tell people when you used AI, and check its sources yourself.
- Report what feels off.If an AI answer scares you, confuses you, or asks for personal details, use the flag button under it and tell a trusted adult.
- Play where others are aroundwhen you can, and talk about what the AI told you.
For parents
Prompt to Prod asks for an age band (under 13, 13–15, 16–17, 18 or older) and stores only that: never a birth date. Under 13, the game is local-only: no sign-in, no cloud save, no live AI and no usage data; progress stays on the phone. Under 16, live AI is switched off completely and the game runs fully in offline practice mode: nothing the player writes is sent to any model. From 16 to 17, live AI is on, our server adds extra safety instructions to every model request, and Byte Lab offers its exercises but no free chat. The band cannot be changed in the game; deleting the account (Settings → Delete account), or deleting this phone's progress for players without one, wipes it together with all progress.
